RIVERS TO BLOOD by Michael Lister. John is a chaplain at the Potter Correctional Institute, when he sees a white van now, his attention is on alert. Inmates being transported; looking out the back window, among the rain drops, he saw, or thought he saw. He pursue, getting out of his van someone knocks him on his head. He finds the transport van, still locked, a moan, an injured inmate, not one of the prison guards. What's going on, who knock him in head, and also to an inmate,something is wrong. How does Jake play into this making bad choices, with good intentions. His dad, telling him, how John, saved lives and souls, and respected him and was proud of him . Those words said a lot to John. Another interesting book, all would enjoy . The plot was intriguing, characters description was good. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
All of Michael Listers books are Awesome especially his blood series I can't pick a fav I have loved all of them. I would recommend all the blood series.

I love the John Jordan character presented in Lister's books. This character and the others are well rounded but still possess those human flaws we all have. His "Blood" series contain all the elements that serious readers of suspense want to experience without having to be there first-hand.
Having read the entire series, I was waiting impatiently for this book to be released. I bought it and had difficulty waiting to read it until I was on vacation,
The wait was worth it, and was able to just read as I love to, never putting it down, and finishing it on my cruise. It did not let me down, I think the blood series is getting better each time I read one. Will wait anxiously for the next one.Cant wait this writer truly has talent
I love this series. I have read all of them and am waiting and hoping for more. I won't give anything away about them, but John Jordan is a prison chaplain, not comfortable with organized religion and facing lots of matters within and outside of the prison that would test anyone's faith. He is a fabulous person to write stories around. If you can read them in order or just read any of them, you'll be hooked.
